Tissue & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad WEEK

So basically if you haven't already figured it out, I've been having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week. I might be overreacting, but I guess you'll have to take a look for yourself.

1. I haven't had any time to get my homework done.

2. On Friday after my check for our first month's rent was due, I had a whole $0.19 in my bank account. This was only after they reimbursed me $210 in non-sufficient fund fees. Btw, I HATE TCF. PLEASE if you don't want your bank playing games with you, DO NOT BANK AT TCF! Supposedly, my overdraft protection on my debit card was taking off. The d-bag said I wasn't fully explained the two different overdraft protection options; One for a debit card and another for a credit card. Considering I haven't had my own credit card EVER, I'm deeply puzzled why there would be so much confusion. Get this! I went into the bank yesterday to deposit my paycheck. Guess who was working? The same d-bag that was initially going to reimburse me only 2 of the 6 non-sufficient fund fees. I don't think he will ever forget my face.

P.S. If bank interest didn't exist, I would keep all my money in a safe or lock box. Dumb banks who only want to take money from their customers, but they can't afford to lose any or have customers threatening to close their accounts. Talk about ridiculous!

3. I worked at the hotel 13+ hours this weekend, because we were booked with two weddings, MSU's orientation for new and transfer students, and MSU's volleyball camp. UGHH! Plus, I woke up at 10 am on Saturday when I was supposed to be at work at 9:30 and still had to drive into town from our new apartment in Mapleton.

4. Gourds (my boyfriend) and I had to move out and clean our old apartment yesterday by noon.

5. Apparently, Gourds doesn't "know" how to clean.

6. I woke up late for a doctor's appointment today. Luckily, she was still able to see me. Keep in mind this was after I called OMC to let them know I was still coming and was spoken to very rudly by a receptionist. Come on now! Don't you think you could get a better job? Oh wait, I forgot. You probably get really good health insurance, because you work there.

7. I'm dead tired right now. I need to stay up to finish my d2L discussions for class, but my eyes are feeling like concrete balls.

8. I have bruises up and down my entire body from working and moving.

FYI: For some reason, I bruise very easily. If you poke your finger hard enough on my skin, I'll end up with a bruise in a few days.

9. My car needs an oil change BAD! The plastic on one of my windshield wipers is pretty much torn off. My car needs to be vacuumed and washed or taken through a car wash.

10. I'm stuck in Rochester for another day, because I have a dentist appointment at 7:30 in the freaking morning tomorrow. Really? I can't say anything bad about the dentist, because I like going and I was planning on going into dental hygiene, but REALLY? I'm so going to fall asleep in the chair.

11. I think I'm becoming sleep deprived.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Just closed my eyes and fell asleep for a few minutes.

Anyways, I need some ZZZZ's and a lot of them!

So until next time,

Tissue

Venting for the Sake of Venting

Since I was young, I was told some words for wisdom from so-called "wise adults."
  • Write down your thoughts.
  • Be true to your word.
  • Keep a journal or diary to record your life story, special milestones, or places visited on trips or vacations.
  • Make a scrapbook for every year of your life.
  • Look back on the good times and the bad times and cherish them both, because they make you who you are.
  • Be sure to capture all those "Kodak moments."
  • Do NOT bottle your emotions.
  • Speak your mind.
  • Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
  • If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't saying anything at all.
  • Be honest with yourself.
  • Dreams do come true.

Now that I ponder these sayings, I try to grasp the message that adults are portray...and I'm left completely and utterly confused. We blame everyone else and everything else--politicians, teachers, priests, coaches, family, friends, Marilyn Manson, evil spirits, peer pressure, school systems, society, video games, television, movies, media, etc--for our problems. I strongly urge you to revisit this list and evaluate these words of wisdom and what they now mean to you.

~Until we meet again,
